Below you’ll find answers to the most frequently asked questions about our activities, meetings, and more. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’re always happy to help!
DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE?
No, you don't have to. You can just pop into the club if you want to check it out or consider joining. There are no sign ups required to become a member. The sign-in sheets are mainly used for tracking attendance and awarding points to participants. This can apply to non-students and graduates as well if anyone wants to bring friends!
WHAT PLATFORM IS THE BEST FOR GETTING INFORMATION AND UPDATES?
That would be our Discord server! Nearly all of our conversations, updates, reminders, polls, and general information can be found there.
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE THE MEETING IN PERSON?
Unfortunately, our meetings will be set for a regular time each week every semester. However, at the end of each semester, we will have feedback forms, where you can express concerns regarding the club. We will also have off campus meetups that will occur outside of the normal meeting times.
HOW CAN I SIGN UP TO BE A CLUB OFFICER?
We are always looking for new help! The proper way to start the application process is to notify one of our active officers, usually on discord, of whom will send you an online application form. After filling out the form, an interview will then be scheduled shortly afterwards.
IS THE ANIME CLUB JUST WATCHING ANIME?
Absolutely not! We make sure that our members have chances to interact with each other through activities we hold at every meeting that we spend lots of time and effort creating!
WHAT ARE THE PERKS OF BEING A DONATOR?
Club donators are currently able to receive a donator role on Discord which grants them the ability to access the donator channel on the server, as well as a channel providing insights into what we're working on next. We are currently working on adding new perks to being a donator, and we will announce said perks on our server as soon as they are implemented!
